The Lincoln Park District Police Department was made part of the Chicago Police Department in 1959. Prior to that time the parks and boulvards in the city were patrolled by the separate Park District department.

It may have been 96 years since your ultimate sacrifice but know that the CPD will not forget. Thank you.
