Patrolman Earl Casterline was killed when his patrol car was struck by a train at an obscured railroad crossing on Kemper Road in Hamilton County.

Patrolman Casterline was stationed at the Cincinnati post at the time. He was survived by his wife and child.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
