Wright Dewey Bryant

Patrolman Wright Bryant was shot as he attempted to arrest a suspect who had just robbed a filling station.

Other officers shot and killed the subject after a short foot chase. Patrolman Bryant died two days later from his wounds.

Patrolman Bryant was survived by his wife, child, parents, and sibling. He had served with Kansas City Police Department for two years.
