Officer Roy Coleman suffered a fatal heart attack in the line of duty.

Officer Coleman had served with the Butler Police Department for 17 years. He was survived by his wife and two daughters.

It saddens and disturbs me that this officer gave his life in the service of his community and yet nothing of his story is available.

He deserves to be remembered properly. Until then Officer Coleman, however your sacrifice came about, you are simply remembered for being one of us.
