As the mother of a soldier I have a deep respect for all first responders and those who willingly put themselves between those they serve and danger. Words cannot express what many in the country feel when they pay the ultimate sacrifice. I extend my condolences to the family of Officer Kondek and the Tarpon police department. This country has lost a great man and a hero. RIP, Officer Kondek.
