To the family of Jordan. Yesterday I was given one of his memorial coins by a co-worker and relative of Jordan, Officer Chris Dillard. Over my 25 year career in policing, I am humbled by the stories loved ones share about the officers who pay the ultimate sacrifice. Officer Dillard shared the story and coin in part of my service as a motor officer for the Phoenix Police Department. I know the risks Jordan faced and know I was only fractions of a second from being on ODMP as well. Being a motor officer is dangerous work. Just know Jordan's legacy lives on through others and I will proudly display his memorial coin in my collection.
God Bless
