Boss Huffman

Special Agent Boss Huffman was struck and killed by a switch engine in the rail yards near South Greenwood Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at approximately 11:00 pm.

He was crossing the tracks near where the Frisco and Midland Valley railroads crossed when he lost his footing and fell into the path of the switch engine.

Special Agent Huffman, when working in a rail yard, the risk of injury or death can come in many different ways as you well knew. How tragic that your life was taken in such an accident.

Railroad Police agencies seem to be slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is a travesty. For all of those who still serve to protect one of the main things that made America what it is today, and for all who preceded them, we, as a nation, owe our thanks.
