Deputy Bravo was killed in an automobile accident while responding suspicious vehicle call. While responding to the call his vehicle was hit at the intersection on FM 1015 and the 12 mile marker as he made a U-turn. Deputy Bravo was ejected from his vehicle and killed.
The driver of the vehicle that hit Deputy Bravo was charged with failure to stop and render aid and involuntary manslaughter. The suspect was acquitted of involuntary manslaughter but convicted of failure to render aid and was sentenced to five years in prison.
Deputy Bravo had been with the agency for four years.
