Milton A. Rueck

Inspector Milton Rueck was killed when his vehicle was struck by a train at the Weldon Street railroad crossing in Roberts.

Inspector Rueck received a call at home Sunday morning advising him of pheasant poaching in the area. The accident occurred as he went to investigate the reports.

Inspector Rueck had served in law enforcement for 22 years. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and six grandchildren.
