Game Warden Johnny Maisano died from the effects of contracting Lyme disease while on duty in January 1988.
After contracting the disease his health continued to deteriorate until he suffered a fatal heart attack on August 26th, 1990.
Game Warden Maisano had served with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation for 15 years. He was survived by his wife and two children.
