George Ralph Watt

Deputy Constable George Watt was killed in an automobile accident on Route 248, just north of Slippery Rock, as he and a Slippery Rock police officer attempted to stop a speeding vehicle.

Both officers were ejected from the vehicle when it overturned on an embankment. Deputy Watt was killed and the policeman suffered serious injuries.
