Today April 30th, 2017 marked the 50th anniversary of the rescue attempt by my friend Ed and his mates Ron and Casey. We held a memorial service on the north pier in Duluth today, where he ended his watch, when swept over the wall and into Lake Superior. Thank you my friend for your heroism. Your Pal, Capt.
