Patrolman W.C. Wallace was shot and killed on 13th Street by a man he was attempting to arrest for carrying a concealed weapon.

Patrolman Wallace was buried at the Six Mile Babtist Church Cemetary in Bibb County.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
