David, you were a great friend. I remember the good times when we used to play pranks on Ray in the down time, canoe Elk River and assist on runs with Eric and Esther and go on fire calls when it was just you, me and Jim Armstrong during the day most of the time. I remember the fire call we went on when you met your soon to be wife, the first code we worked together and the first high speed run for an alarm call we went on to the line. We had a great time working together and as friends on our down time, and when we used to harass Roger when he worked for the city and we were barely old enough to work ambulance. Those were the good old days we spent in our youth that I will never forget, each day accompanied by your smile and a few times by both of us looking at each other wondering what was going to happen next. I can still hear your laugh sometimes when I close my eyes and remember those times and so many calls. Rest in Peace my brother, until we meet again.
