John Nicolas "Nick" Wren

Deputy John Wren was shot and killed as he attempted to serve an arrest warrant on a suspect. Two days later he was shot and killed at a nearby ranch by a posse member.

Deputy Wren had served with the agency for only six months. He was survived by his wife and three children.
