To everyone of you who has written such beautiful notes about my son Leroy, I thank You from my heart and soul. My son was a beautiful soul who loved everyone. He had to arrest a lot of his friends but still remained friends with them. He would never judge. I just wished he knew how much he was loved. I am so blessed to know his friends and fellow brothers of law enforcement have honored him so much. I know he is smiling from up above. You have all been so good to pray for us. I have a letter he wrote at post that said "If I made a difference in one persons life I have done my job". I think he did that and more. We have a memorial fund for kids who can't pay for sports or who can't buy sport shoes and such. He has made a lot of kids very happy as they play there sports. His wish was to marry and have kids. He never got to do that and that hurts my heart so much. He would have been a wonderful Dad. He was the best Uncle to his little man Gannon who still remembers what he would do for him. Gannon is four years old now and wants to be a cop. I hope he is as good as every officer out there who watches out for us. My prayers go out to you all. You have a hard job and never get tha thanks you should. On behalf of my family I want to Thank You so much for what you do for us. Please be careful and I LOVE YOU ALL!!! And Leroy, you were so lucky to have extended family from all over the United States. God Bless You All!!! I miss my son so much!
