Staff Sgt. Medeiros, it's not easy to lose a member of the extended family that is law enforcement, but when the one lost is a fellow university officer, it's just a little closer to home, no matter how far away. Though it's been well over a year since you were taken from your family at work and at home, I'm sure not a day goes by that someone doesn't think of you and miss you. But I'm sure they realize you've never really left. You may be gone physically, but you're in Heaven now watching over them and living in their hearts.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
