My brother was killed on a motorcycle in June of 2002. Officer Young was at the scene of the accident the next day, which was only a couple of houses from where I live. As I walked up to the intersection where it happened I broke down, crying in disbelief as to how close to my house the accident occurred. Officer Young stopped what he was doing, walked up to me , hugged me and let me cry on his shoulder. He gave words of comfort and consolement. Above and beyond his roll as an officer of the law. I was so saddened to hear of his death that day. I can only hope the reflections of people he crossed paths with, as myself, can give his family some comfort as he did me that day! God bless you!
