As we approach the anniversary of the loss of Jimmy and the current loss to the Sedwick County Sheriff's office I wanted to take a moment and read through some of the reflections for Jimmy.

Yours was the first LEO funeral I ever attended, I was humbled by the enormous presence of other law enforcement agencies/officers from across the nation in attendance that day. It was a reminder about how one loss impacts us all. I was absolutely not prepared for the call home over the radio and am reminded of yours ever time I have attended other LEO funerals.

I want to thank you for everything Jimmy, I hope you are always remembered as the kind, fair, and honest man that I knew.
