Corporal Jason Makowski was shot and killed after responding to a call involving a man walking around with a gun and arguing with garbage workers near the intersection of Joy and Beech Daly Roads.

Thinking about you and the many stories I've heard about you over the years. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet you, but I'm sure we will eventually meet. Until then, we're still fighting the good fight out here.
