Patrolman Daniel Grennan drowned when he fell into the Gowanas Canal while on foot patrol. His body was not recovered until March 4, 1921.

Patrolman Grennan was assigned to the Hamilton Avenue Precinct.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
