Kenneth D. Berlin, Jr.

Detective Kenneth Berlin was killed in an automobile crash at the intersection of Memorial Highway and Cypress Street.

He was returning to headquarters from an undercover assignment when vehicle collided with a reinforcing rod near a construction site.

Detective Berlin had served with the Tampa Police Department for three years. He is survived by his wife and two children.

A good an decent man. He was an excellent LEO and is missed by so many. Worked in the same unit as Ken when I was with the Tampa Police Dept. at the time of his death. Never forgotten for his devotion to the TPD and the citizens of Tampa
