Gary was my big brother and will always be missed. He was always so kind and was very funny. His laugh when he was joking around and being funny always reminded me of Foghorn Leghorn in the cartoons. I still think of Gary every time I see/hear Foghorn on t.v.

Our family found out a lot about Gary after his death that we didn't know before. He had saved lives and helped so many people during his tenure at Georgia Tech. We didn't know about this and more because Gary wasn't the type to brag about the things he did.

Hearing of and accepting Gary's death was very hard on us all as we loved and respected him very much. He was taken from us far too soon. I supposed it's too often true that the good ones truly do die young. There will never be another man like Gary. I miss him and will always be proud of him and his giving nature toward others.
