Deputy Clendennen was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a man who just set the County Courthouse on fire.

After setting the fire, which destroyed all the county's current and historical records, the suspect returned home. When a posse, including Deputy Clendennen, arrived, the suspect fled from his residence firing at the officers as he exited. Deputy Clendennen was struck and died at the scene.

I Pray for Peace for your Family and for the men and women that still serve Limestone County. I also Pray that the hounds of hell are gnawing on the bones of your murderer as his soul is being burned up in the lake of fire!
