Tracing back my family heritage, my great-grandmother was a Clendennen in Limestone County. I had some great-aunts and cousins who lived in Kosse and the surrounding areas that I remember visiting when I was a kid over 50 years ago. I had no knowledge of you then, but every time I go through there now, I think of you and the ultimate sacrifice you made. My father was in law enforcement, as I have been for the past 35 years. Rest in Peace, Deputy Ned Clendennen. I look forward to meeting you on the heavenly side one day.
