Officer Kehr succumbed to injuries sustained three days earlier when he was involved in a motorcycle accident on Brownsville Road while en route to an emergency call.

Officer Kehr had served with the agency for 5 years. He was survived by his wife and three children.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
