View all 272 ReflectionsHi Poppy, I've been thinking about you a lot the last few weeks. You have been my biggest motivation to keep going as college and ROTC kick my butt right now. I actually almost quit earlier this week but I remembered why I am doing it, for you and Dad. Every day I go to training early in the morning and see the sunrise and think of you and I know you are there with me supporting me and watching over me. It's hard but I want to make you proud and accomplish things I know you would be so happy to see me do. I wish you could be here to see it but I know you are watching over me. I visited you the other day when things got really tough and it helped me remember that I'm doing this for you. I miss you everyday and wish I got the opportunity to get to know you. I love and miss you and can't wait to make you proud and follow in your footsteps. Continue to watch over my Mom and Dad and keep them safe. Talk to you soon.
