I did not know Officer Mack personally. I aspire to be a police officer someday. Being from Evans, Georgia, I have had the opportunity to talk with many of the deputies who worked with him. In doing so, I have learned a lot about him and can truly say he has made an impact on my life. Seeing his pictures in the substation is truly humbling.

Isaiah 6:8
"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

This verse comes to mind when I think of you Mr. Mack. I know you can hear me when I say this. Thank you. Your sacrifice has not been forgotten. Your passing has inspired a future. Someday, I will hold the Thin Blue Line and it would not have been possible if it were not for men and women like you.
