I was told so many stories throughout my life about this horrific day. My grandmother was his wife at the of the incident. She married my fathers dad after he passed away. She passed away when I was very young, so I learned most of the stories from my Aunt Billie Robinson which was his daughter. I know he was strong and fought hard to stay alive before he succumbed to his injuries eleven days later. God bless him and my entire family for their sacrifices.
