Special Agent Bejcek, Special Agent Donald Robinson, and Special Agent George LaBarge were killed in an automobile accident while on a protective detail for England's Queen Elizabeth. The Queen was visiting President Ronald Reagan's California ranch.

The agents were travelling ahead of Queen Elizabeth's motorcade, while en route to Yosemite National Park, to check for any suspicious activity. Their vehicle was struck by a Mariposa County Sheriff's Department patrol car.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the twenty-sixth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to our country. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow officer who was murdered on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Losing three officers in one incident was a tragedy for the families and muat have been a devastating blow to your agency. I also pray for the other officer's emotional healing for this must have tortured him.

Rest In Peace.
