In the mid-80's I was a rebellious, crazy teenager. My friends and I used to cruise Carkeek Park back then and that is where I fist met Officer Davis. He gave us a ticket for going too fast. Thank heaven we crossed path. We were a bunch of private school girls, young, nieve and headed for trouble. Officer Davis became our guardian angelalthough we didn't know it. In hind sight I know he knew we were in way over our heads and he watched out for us. On more than one occassion when we were at some house party hanging with people we had never met, someone there would ask if Stephanie and Linda were here, "yes" we would say, "Officer Davis says it's time to go home". We wouldn't even know he was around and we would remove ourselves a little embarrassed but comforted knowing he cared.

I have always wanted to let his family know how much we cared for him and how sorry I was to hear of your loss. It has been years since then and I made it through those times relatively unscathed, I'm now a wife and mother leading a blessed life and I know I owe that in part to Officer Davis!
