Patrolman Kinne, a instructor at the Police Pistol Range, was accidentally shot in the stomach by another officer at the range. He died the next day from his wound.

Patrolman Kinne had served with the agency for just under three years.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
