Well my darling you have been gone 10 years this year ...I was reading the news tonight where LaPlace lost two officers this week...As I sit here crying for their family I am grateful to know that you are there to welcome them home with your open arms...I can remember the young officers knocking on our door at night to ask if Skipper was there they needed some help...You always worried about the young officers so much...You would get out of bed and try to help them any way you could....I remember always making them welcome no matter what time of night and insisting that I would get you up for them...Wrap your arms around these two young officers that was taken home this past Thursday...They are noble men that gave their lives protecting others, the greatest gifts our officers give....
