Isaac, I have only recently learned your story. I'm a Heffington descendant, although I'm not sure we're related. No matter. Thank you so much for your service to the citizens of Lee County, Texas. I'm sure that, although their loss was great, your children found you to be a great inspiration. Many others have followed since those wild days, and none are forgotten.
