Haskell Junior McCoy

Deputy Sheriff Haskell McCoy was killed when his vehicle was struck head-on on Eastex Freeway, near the North Belt, while leaving the agency firing range after re-qualifying.

The driver of the other vehicle driving on the wrong side of the interstate and was also killed in the crash.

Deputy McCoy had served with the Harris County Sheriff's Office for 10 years.
