Matt,
We had just begun a friendship shortly before you were taken. I am grateful that I got to know you as well as I did. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you, and of that day when I was shoveling my driveway (it was Erie, after all) when Matty called me and told me the news, telling me to get to the hospital right away. We all stood vigil at the hospital and I cried like a baby when they said you were gone. I was ashamed then; but I no longer am. It is a shame to shed tears for worthless things; but I shed tears for a brother and a friend. I will never forget you. I only hope that Shelly has been able to continue her life. I hope that although she will never forget you; that she will realize happiness, which she deserves. God Bless you, Bro. I miss you.
