John,

I remember that day 18 years ago, it will be a evening I will never forget - I will never ever forget you. The small memento that you gave me still hangs on my wall, and I promise to keep it until I see you again my friend.

You words of wisdom helped me become to person I am today, which included getting into law enforcement myself - I hope you are proud of what I have accomplished in my life.

Love you brother. Continue to Rest in Peace.
