My cousin Sgt James (Jim) Ward was the reason I joined the USAF as Security Forces (Law Enforcement). I remember our ride alongs when I was a teen.
He used to tell me, "Why do you want to ride with me? You know you would see more action if your rode with one of my guys or ladies."
I miss him very much and often think of him.
After reading all the other Reflections, I want to say thank you to all of you for your kind words. I also want to tell those that he served with on the force, He loved you all very much. He was so happy to be working for JSO and he had some of the best around him. Thank you.
