Seasonal Ranger Beaulieu was killed in an automobile accident in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, while responding to a wildfire call. His patrol car left the roadway and went down a 30-degree slope. The roof of the patrol car struck a 11-inch fir tree, breaking the tree in half.

Ranger Beaulieu was serving his second summer as a seasonal park ranger. He was survived by his two year old daughter.

Mike,
It has been 14 years since you have left this place for a better one.It still feels like yesterday that we lost you.I will never forget all the special times we shared as kids growing up and they are some of my happiest childhood memories.I really wish things could be different and that we could share stories of our own children today. You were one of my best friends as kids and I only wish we could have been as close as adults and that is something I will always wish I had done differently.I love and miss you so much and hope to see and share great conversation with you again one day.You were definately a role model for young people and the accomplishments that can be made during youg adulthood-I know you made your parents proud.
Love your cousin,
Danielle
