Officer Wright was killed in a collision with a mail collector.
Officer Frederick Wright was my grandmother's first husband. I have seen a tintype of him mounted on a horse, which I believe he rode before taking up motorcycles. I will try to find the tintype and find a way to get it posted to this site.
