Hey Bear,
Retired from the Florida Highway Patrol about 5-6 years ago and forgive me for not writing you. Even after retirement and nearly 72 years old I still remember you and all the events of that evening. I can see it just as clearly as if it all happened yesterday. I remember all the apple pie and coffee you bought for me in that little downtown cafe we would frequent when we were partners on the night shift. Still remember how proud you were of Carl and yes all the times we would laugh talking about Carl growing up. Don't know of how much time any of us have left but I would still consider it an honor if you meet at the gates of heaven. God bless you and your family forever. Until we meet again.
