When Patrolman Wilson stopped at home, which was on his beat, to get lunch he found the suspect in the house. An argument ensued between Patrolman Wilson and the suspect, about the suspect being to friendly towards Patrolman Wilson's wife. With out provocation the suspect pulled a gun and fired on Patrolman Wilson, striking him in the abdomen. The suspect was later tried and convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Patrolman Wilson had been with the agency for three years and was survived by his wife and three children. |
