Yesterday marked 31 years uncle Sammy. 31 years of missing your voice, 31 years of missing your laugh, 31 years of missing your amazing hugs, 31 years of missed milestones, holidays, birthdays and everything in between. You were taken way too son, your life was cut way too short. I was 4 years old, it was a bitter cold day, I was going about my business like any other 4 year old would, lining up my Barbie dolls in the living room and driving them around in the pink '57 Chevy you just bought me for Christmas for my dolls. Yes, you always spoiled me. As I was playing, the phone rang and I will never forget that feeling I felt when I answered it, something was very wrong, the person on the other end was crying and asking to speak to Mommy. I remember Mommy bursting out in tears and falling to her knees. The first heartbreak I ever felt. Our lives were forever changed that day. To say you are missed would be an understatement. There isn't a single day that you aren't thought of. I love you and miss you so very much. You were such an amazing soul.
