Sergeant Williamson was killed near Brownsville while giving aide to citizens during a tornado. He was en route to Dyersburg when a second tornado picked up his patrol car and threw it 300 feet. He was killed when the vehicle struck the ground.

Sergeant Williamson was survived by his wife.

ODMP is participating in the CrowdRise Giving Tower Holiday Challenge, an annual fundraising competition that runs from November 24th through January 7th and raises millions of dollars for charity.
