Tom Watson

Officer Watson succumbed to an accidental gun shot wound sustained the previous day. His service revolver fell from its holster as he was standing at the intersection of Sixth Street and DeSiard. The revolver discharged when it struck the pavement and round struck him in the leg. Officer Watson did not have the wound treated and died the following the day.

Thank you for your service to our great of Louisiana. You nor your service will be forgotten. Time does not erase nor fill the void of the loss of loved ones. When teaching I would always speak of "fair weather " friends and "true blue" friends. Explaining that they (my students) could only truly count on those friends that were "true blue". Sir you were a "true blue" friend to all.....
