As the 32nd date of this tragic accident approaches, I am preparing to honor Deputy Warta, Deputy Bateman and Sheriff Kulp in a bicycle ride from Central NJ to Washington D.C. within the Police Unity Tour organization in May of 2019.

I ask that you please leave as much information about these men as husbands, fathers, brothers, partners, and friends so that I may ride with a true sense of how these men lived their lives.

Any family members that will be in Washington D.C. will be presented with the bracelet with the men's name on it that traveled with a rider throughout the 300 mile long journey.

The motto for this ride is, "WE RIDE FOR THOSE WHO DIED" and the money goes to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund where the focus (and carved into the wall with all 21,000+ officers names) is the line, "It is not how these officers died that made them heroes, but how they lived." And I plan to help remember the lives they lived in May 2019.
