Hi Dad, It’s been a while since I posted. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you, though. My husband retired from the Sheriff’s Dept in Dec, 2017, after 30 years. It was very bittersweet. Because he was the Chief of Police, some of his motors escorted us out of the city after his final radio sign-off. The last time I had a police escort was your funeral. It really has come full circle. I miss you and Mom so much. My kids missed out on knowing a great man. My heart is at peace, though knowing that each day that passes is one day closer to seeing you again. Until then, take care of Mom. With all the love this broken heart can hold, Your daughter, Taryn
