Dad, I can't believe it's been almost 50 years since you left me, as a little 5 year old girl. I was recently visiting your great granddaughter, Adellyn, who is the exact same age as when I lost you, and it sucked the breath out of my lungs as I watched her play in childlike innocence . Sometimes life is so cruel for things like this to happen, but here we are. My biggest regret is that I never knew you, but I have hope that someday when my sweet Jesus takes me home, that you will be standing right next to Him, fighting to receive me into your arms. :). Until then, just know that you are never ever forgotten.

All my love,
Tamela
