Police Officer Clarence Wagner was killed in a motorcycle crash when another vehicle made a left-hand turn in front of his motorcycle on South Dixie Highway.

He was responding to an accident with injuries call at Forest Hill Boulevard with his lights and sirens activated when the accident took place. The driver of the other vehicle was charged with causing an accident by failing to yield right-of-way.

Officer Wagner had served with the West Palm Beach Police Department for two years. He was survived by his wife, mother, two brothers, and one sister.
