My father told the story about uncle "Tex" many times as I was growing up. My fathers mother's sister was the wife of Milton E. Verity. Not until After I was an adult and started my family tree project did I know who he was, and how bravely he died. Both my brother and I chose careers in Law Enforcement, and the memory of his sacrafice never has been forgotten. It has been 40 years since loosing contact with the the rest of the Verity family. They can contact me at. Rest in Peace Uncle
