Ramon, I just read a little bit about your great-grandfather and the Valenzuela Ranch in a book about the Big Bend area called Yonderlings by Ben English. He spoke very highly of Felix Valenzuela. That led me to this sight to find out more about this hero from our past. I’m glad that you were able to learn about him from your grandmother.
In his absence, I want to thank you for his service. I’m grateful for all the men and women in law enforcement.
