Oscar Trevino Torres

Patrol Agent Oscar Torres died after falling through an opening on a railroad bridge near El Paso, Texas.

He and two other agents went to the bridge to open a gate to allow a train to pass through. As he returned to the land he tripped and fell to the river bottom, 25-feet below.

Agent Torres had been with the agency for five years. He was survived by his wife and three children. He was buried in the Buena Vista Cemetery, Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas.

I would like to thank all of you that have posted on my father's behave. It is always nice to hear a kind word or two about him. My time with him only lasted three years, but in those years between I have grown to love him even more through all the wonderful memories that have been shared. Thank you so much for never forgetting him.
